First Flight to Find Awe in 2021

First Flight

I finally took my first flight in over a year. It was fine. I was fine. I am fully vaccinated so I wasn’t worried. I was headed to see my parents and my grandma. I will write more about some of my adventures in the next post but I wanted to share some of the moments of awe from my trip right away. I hope they offer you a moment of awe and inspire you to look for awe every day!

Landing and The Bridge

My first taste of awe was landing in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and crossing the Mackinac Bridge, looking out over Lake Huron.

Next, it was more Lake Huron. And a bonus…a purple susnet.

Then, into the woods for some woodland flowers that were just blooming.

A quick visit with an old friend…Mr. Sandhill-Crane.

Then, another amazing sunrise over Lake Huron.

It was a quick trip. The last bit of awe came from the city lights as I headed in for a safe landing at home to Philly!

Final Thought

Cherish the awe that you find. In the air, on the land, in the water…wherever you are…find awe!
